Just return from soccer after attending the inaugural manhood conference, "Men United".
I'm pumped up...
One thing that Pastor Phil said was let the mighty men in you rise, and bring the battle to the devil, keep the devil at bay. A lot of times we just live comfortable and went problems come, we start to feel depressed, stress and try to solve the problems. But instead you should be prepared to rise up to the problem before it even start to affect you.
Another thing that Pastor shared was i have always felt. Guy need to be united to support each other, not stand alone. Its time to put aside that ego front.
I've been feeling aimless these few weeks, somehow I lost sight of my vision, where I am heading. I need to g-b-t-b.
I shall end here.. its late and i am hungry. =p
♘ Born or made beautiful?
Tuesday, March 10, 2009 @ 1:20 AM
I had been thinking about this for a while. Is a person naturally born beautiful or is a person beautiful because of a person's effort to maintain his/herself?
I personally believe that no on is born ugly, or fat, unattractive. But I believe that it is laziness that makes a person unattractive.
Women are created to beautiful. But it takes effort and discipline to be beautiful. Sometimes I envy women, because it seemed like a natural gift in them to know how to doll themselves up. The majority of women have a good fashion sense, however there is still a minority. It is the opposite for guys, the majority either do not know how to dress up or do not bother.
It is often said that Men are attracted by sight, women are attracted by words. A female friend once said this to me, that it is not fair that women must dress up for the guys to see, but the guys don't bother to dress up. I kinda agree with that statement. I feel that guys too should learn to improve their fashion sense. A man find a partner comparable to self. If a guy is sloppy in his dressing, it is not far for him to be with a lady who is gorgeous.
As for women, every single one is supposed to be beautiful according to the bible. But sometimes, it is very turn-off to see out of shape ladies. I always wonder why don't they do something to their shape. It just take a little time off their busy schedule to exercise and eat right.
It just take a simple decision and discipline to keep that decision.

Moody... Thought I could cheer myself up by buying a box of mini Cornettos. But feel moody. I got an employment relations assignment to complete but feel so lost trying to write the essay.
Last week's message changed my view slightly on relationships. I think I should be say realize that being a bachelor is not that bad... Instead of pursuing a relationship, i should think about how to add even more value to myself, increase the standard. If someone comes along, the feeling is right, that should be the one.
Someone on Saturday made a compliment that I'm stylish, smart, spiritual, rich... I feel elevated by that compliment.. HAHA
